Sarah P. Whitewater, LPC

“When we are no longer able to change our situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” Vicktor Frankl

Sarah’s goal as a counselor is to engage her clients in meaningful ways and encourage them to achieve goals for treatment.  Her approach in therapy integrates experiential techniques and cognitive behavioral strategies to help strengthen and support positive mental health. These evidence based approaches promote greater emotional awareness and increased insight into patterns of thoughts and behaviors. Sarah collaborates with clients to focus and create a balanced, healthy lifestyle that brings well-being and fulfillment to individual needs. Through counseling process, clients can acknowledge the power of their choices and begin to use their voice to overcome their own unique challenges.
